Part Time Creative Assistant

Based in our Wickham Market workshop we have a vacancy for a part time Creative Assistant. The main responsibilities will be to assist with the production of our handmade lampshades. Being a very small family business there will be a range of other tasks from time to time.

With an interest in crafts we will train you with the skills needed to produce our hand made lampshades.

Hours	10 per week, there is flexibility of exact hours worked
Rate	£11.50 per hour

 

Responsibilities will include:

• Complete lampshades using various materials, such as fabric, paper, and metal
• Measure and cut materials to the required size and shape
• Assemble lampshade frames and attach materials securely
• Apply adhesive or tapes to join materials together
• Ensure that lampshades are properly finished
• Inspect finished lampshades for quality and accuracy

Requirements:

• Interest in crafts
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Creativity and an eye for design
