All of our lampshades are lined with a heat-safe PVC backing
Material that has been tested and passed the glow wire test carried out by the lighting association
Low energy bulbs are recommended 60-watt bulbs maximum

Each lampshade is handmade to order with a rolled edge for a clean finish and may look slightly different to picture due to pattern repeats
We will always try to match the picture

Due to pattern size its not always possible to pattern match the join

The lampshade will fit the standard bayonet cap (BC)
Lamp it can also be used with continental fittings by removing the converter plug in the Centre of the fitting

Our Items are handmade to order shipping is via
Royal mail to any UK destination

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
the maximum size of lampshade that can be sent by international post is 30cm (12 inches)
Larger sizes have to be sent by courier ( note the cost of courier shipping has greatly increased since the start of the pandemic)

The larger sizes (35cm &c40 cm )
Will need to be sent via courier when ordering please choose the relevant courier option instead of standard delivery during checkout

International shipping costs are
Upto 30cm £15 GBP for Europe
And £20 GBP FOR USA
over 30 cm £20 GBP for Europe
And £75 GBP for USA per lampshade

Lampshade Size

Our handmade lampshades are available in a range of sizes from small table lamp shades to large statement pieces.

Lampshade Fittings

When ordering there is a choice of fitting to suit UK, European and American lam ps with options for both ceiling/pendant and table/floor lights.

EU/UK fittings are complete with a convertor reducing ring that allows switching between the 2 sizes

Spider (USA) is a fitting for lamps with a harp and finial.

Slip Uno 1.5 inch (USA) this fitting is for USA lamps with a fitting under the bulb, there is more than 1 size of this type, our lampshades will only fit those where the fitting width is 1.5 inches

Lampshades made by Blue Crocus Textiles and handmade to order in our studio which is based in Ipswich, UK with an expected time from order to dispatch of 1 week or less.

Small and medium lampshades will be dispatched by Royal Mail with full tracking.

Larger handmade lampshades will be dispatched by courier.
