All our lampshades are lined with a heat-safe PVC backing material that has been tested and passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association
Low energy bulbs are recommended 60-watt maximum

International shipping
The maximum size of lampshade that can be sent by international post is 30cm.
Larger sizes have to be sent by courier (note the cost of courier shipping has greatly increased since the start of the pandemic)
The larger sizes 35cm & 40cm
Will need to be sent by via courier when ordering please choose the relevant option instead of standard delivery during checkout
International shipping coasts are
Up to 30 cm £15 for Europe
And £20 GBP for USA
Over 30 cm are £20 GBP for Europe
£75 GBP for the USA per lampshade

All lampshades are handmade to order in our studio based in Ipswich UK.
Lampshade Size
Our handmade lampshades are available in a range of sizes from small table lamp shades to large statement pieces.
Lampshade Fittings
When ordering there is a choice of fitting to suit UK, European and American lam ps with options for both ceiling/pendant and table/floor lights.
EU/UK fittings are complete with a convertor reducing ring that allows switching between the 2 sizes
Spider (USA) is a fitting for lamps with a harp and finial.
Slip Uno 1.5 inch (USA) this fitting is for USA lamps with a fitting under the bulb, there is more than 1 size of this type, our lampshades will only fit those where the fitting width is 1.5 inches

Lampshades made by Blue Crocus Textiles and handmade to order in our studio which is based in Ipswich, UK with an expected time from order to dispatch of around 7 working days
Small and medium lampshades will be dispatched by Royal Mail with full tracking.
Larger handmade lampshades will be dispatched by courier.
Free Shipping
UK orders over £100 will be shipped for free to addresses in mainland UK

I bought 2 of these lampshades for my lounge. Both arrived well packaged and are a lovely shade of orange. I’m really pleased with them.
We found blue crocus online and after a quick phone call ordered the lamb shade you can see in the photograph. Looks amazing and very pleased with the whole process great job blue Crocus.
Love the adjustable parts and it fits my lamp well. Love the copper inside to give warm lighting.

This is a beautiful lampshade. Soft colours, unusual design - it will really add to the room it’s intended for. I do like a nice lampshade!
I ordered two lampshades, one for a lamp and one for a ceiling light, both have transformed the room from dull to subtle colour. The quality is excellent and attention to detail makes them special. Both shades arrived promptly with no damage in reusable boxes. I paid more than I would normally but in this case quality, style and the handmade finish makes it worth it.
Lampshade fits in beautifully with living room colours. Lovely pastel colours. Superb service. Will definitely look to review and purchase again.
