This handmade lampshade is covered in a lovely soft velvet, the interior is lined with a metallic effect brushed gold lining.

All of our lampshades are lined with a heat-safe backing material that has been tested and passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association. Low energy bulbs are recommended for use with this lampshade, 60-watt bulb maximum.
Each lampshade is handmade to order with a rolled edge for a clean finish and may look different to the picture due to pattern repeats. We will always try to match the picture as close as possible.
When lit a soft glow will emit from the top and bottom only

Lampshade Size
Our handmade lampshades are available in a range of sizes from small table lamp shades to large statement pieces.
Lampshade Fittings
When ordering there is a choice of fitting to suit UK, European and American lam ps with options for both ceiling/pendant and table/floor lights.
EU/UK fittings are complete with a convertor reducing ring that allows switching between the 2 sizes
Spider (USA) is a fitting for lamps with a harp and finial.
Slip Uno 1.5 inch (USA) this fitting is for USA lamps with a fitting under the bulb, there is more than 1 size of this type, our lampshades will only fit those where the fitting width is 1.5 inches

Lampshades made by Blue Crocus Textiles and handmade to order in our studio which is based in Ipswich, UK with an expected time from order to dispatch of around 7 working days
Small and medium lampshades will be dispatched by Royal Mail with full tracking.
Larger handmade lampshades will be dispatched by courier.
Free Shipping
UK orders over £100 will be shipped for free to addresses in mainland UK

I bought 2 of these lampshades for my lounge. Both arrived well packaged and are a lovely shade of orange. I’m really pleased with them.
We found blue crocus online and after a quick phone call ordered the lamb shade you can see in the photograph. Looks amazing and very pleased with the whole process great job blue Crocus.

This is a beautiful lampshade. Soft colours, unusual design - it will really add to the room it’s intended for. I do like a nice lampshade!
I ordered two lampshades, one for a lamp and one for a ceiling light, both have transformed the room from dull to subtle colour. The quality is excellent and attention to detail makes them special. Both shades arrived promptly with no damage in reusable boxes. I paid more than I would normally but in this case quality, style and the handmade finish makes it worth it.
